In Memory of Leslie

Our friend, Leslie, passed away from Pancreatic Cancer in 2007.  She left behind an amazing husband and a 6 year old daughter named, Maia.  My son, Joey, and I met Leslie and Maia in 2001 when we joined the same Las Madres group.  (A play group in our county based on your neighborhood area and year your child was born.)  Joey has done many walks to raise money for Pancreatic research.  It is currently the cancer that receives the less funding and research.  This is an important cause near and dear to our hearts.  Joey and Maia are 12 now.  Joey will be running in a 5K on November 2 in San Jose in honor of his friend, Maia and her mom who passed away, Leslie.

Challenge 113 ~ Anything Goes

Happy Diva Tuesday!

For this challenge I made two Mother's Day cards.  The die cuts that I used were Martha Stuart's Doily Flower, and EK Success' Pennant.
